Make money from Your Own Informational Membership Site

on Saturday, 3 September 2011

There is a lot of money to be made of sites as we have seen, but there is one type of site in particular that is a little different than the rest. What makes it so interesting that it is actually the number of people who can get in and use what it has to offer limits?

This may sound like a strange way to make money, but in fact it's worth having a good topic to start.
Informative sites are membership websites that cost people to access. Anyone will be able to identify the mainhome page (and sometimes a few other pages too), but most of the website can not be seen until each person pays their money to get access to see.

The key to designing a membership site that works is to carefully choose your subject. It should be something that you know much about, and that other people find interesting. More than that, however, should contain information that people are willing to pay for. If the information you could be found in any other way then your site will not work. What's more, it can also damage your reputation.

So this obviously requires some research. You need a subject that wills always be popular and has brought in a lot of money for other people did. One of the best examples to work from home - there are always people who want to know how they do it and earn lots of money, without the grind of going out to work every day.

Let us take an example. The key here is that broad subject approached from a perspective that may not have been done before, and which will form the basis of a membership site that provides people with information that they are taking shape elsewhere. If you do not have a specific focus and you do not have some exclusive information for your members to provide each month, then you have no website. It's that simple.

Regarding the site itself, please make sure your web host is a site where people can login and logout from their accounts as and when they want to consider. You can pay monthly on-line with some providers, once you've entered the relevant payment buttons in your site should automatically take payment from the customer each month. To get an idea of how much to charge, the best thing to do is to study similar sites to see what they offer and how much they charge for it.

When it comes to designing your website, make sure your home page is friendly for your members, but also make it attractive enough to encourage more people to invite. By doing this - and by driving traffic to your site - you need to quickly build a respectable membership base that hopefully will grow into a nice monthly income for you.

Make money from Selling E-Books

on Tuesday, 16 August 2011

Make no mistake - e-books are big business online. No matter what you're looking for there will be someone out there selling an e-book. But the best thing about them is that they are one of the most potentially lucrative businesses you could ever hope to begin to offer online. As long as you do your homework and not try and cut corners you can make inroads into this business to start within days of the decision to start. There is plenty to learn, but none of it is over you - even if you do not think you are up to the job, there are plenty of people you can rely on to help. If you are thinking of selling e-books to make money online, your best bet is to write your own.

But why do that when there are plenty of affiliates e-books around that you can promote and earn a cut from? The answer is simple. If you write and create your own e-book no one else will be selling something very nice. You have a unique product that will draw attention, because no one has seen. As long as you do your research first, you could make a lot of money from an eBook alone.

So first thing first - how do you decide what you must have an e-book on?
Think about what topics are currently popular online. Making money is always a great subject (see this blog for example!), So that all valves in this field that does not cover the same ground as many other e-books could do well. Try and focus on a specific niche for the best results, you might start by thinking about what you find interesting and see if one of your hobbies can be fertile ground to explore.

Once you have an idea to see if there is already a thriving e-book on the subject line. If there does not seem to be all around you need to dig a little further to see if your topic is popular enough to be a lot of sales to attract. A place of simple keyword research and search for related search terms on Google can help reveal the answer to this.
Okay - so let's assume you have an idea for an e-book that you think are popular. Next up you need the contents of the plan and to think a great title. Titles are very important because the potential buyer an idea of what to expect from the e-book itself. It must be specific and intriguing - and full of promise. Do not worry if you do not immediately, very often you'll only think of once the book is almost written.

The biggest problem when it comes to writing the book itself is staying on topic. It is very easy to hit the road as you're not careful, that's why having a pre-written outline to follow you on track. If you plan this before you start writing you will find the whole process much easier to manage. If you are not confident enough to write it yourself you can hire a ghostwriter to do it for you, there are plenty of sites online where you are a freelancer for a fixed fee that you decide to rent. This gives you complete control over the project.

Incidentally, the word "e-book 'is somewhat misleading for newbies to the business. An e-book is indeed a hundred pages or more long, but it is no more than a dozen pages or so. The price for a short e-book will obviously be lower, but it's still more than you might think, given the length of the book itself.

Obviously you think about more than just the e-book if you want to sell enough copies. You need the word, and you have a large mini-site to show it. These mini-sites are really single page sites to promote your eBook in a long sales letter. You would do well to spend so much time writing the sales letter as you did the e-book itself, because it has a very important job to do.
First you need a great headline that will grab attention.

You should really sell to anyone who lands on your website so do not be afraid to shout about the benefits of e-book! You'll notice I said there are benefits, not features, that is because the benefits will tell your readers what your book will do for them. This is a very important point to understand, because the difference between getting a fair amount of turnover and is buried under an avalanche of it!
Think about your price is right too. Do not be greedy - yet not too low. You want an idea of the quality business. Do some research and see what other similar titles in your area sell for.

You can also sell more copies by offering bonuses, along with the e-book itself. Could you write a number of special reports, each a few pages long, covering the main topic of your book? Something like this will encourage more people to you rather buy than to go elsewhere for a similar title.

The ultimate goal should be to you a series of e-books, each with its own website to sell-out. If you write any sales letter sure to be plenty of keywordsand phrases to include a greater volume of search traffic to your site to attract. To choose a good and relevant domain name - it will help to draw in more people.

The most difficult step in writing the first e-book. Once you get started and you have some experience you can start writing them faster, picking more titles and subjects, and selling more copies as a result. Before you know it you have a great business on your hands.
To respond to this piece, please leave your message using the form below. Then you write - your first e-book there, you just have to get it out.
