Once you have an interesting and informative lens with good content, modules and money left on it, you have a great base for making money with Squidoo!

Now the last ingredient is to drive traffic to your lens. That is, people to see your lens!

There are many ways to get traffic, but most important, will the search engines. Your lens will naturally picked up by the search engines simply because of Squidoo. The traffic will naturally come, but there are some tricks to getting more traffic that i will tell you in this blog but later so keep yourself updated here.

Once you have your subject and content on your page, you can make money modules.

These include modules such as eBay, Amazon, Cafe press, Zazzle and a few others. This will show you some products that you can easily earn affiliate commissions when you buy a product and reader goers.

Add links to your website or affiliate link, you can use the "write" module or the link list. In the "write module" you can bet basic HTML for images and hyperlinks.

The best way to use hyperlinks to direct visitors to your squeeze page where they can sign up for your newsletter or download a freebie.

This method is known as list building and is perhaps the most powerful and fail-proof way to make money online, because once they are on your list, you can contact them back and forth.

Or if you do not yet have your own website, directly linking to your affiliate links to products and offers that you promote.

Make sure the sites (i.e., products and offers) a link related to your lens!

People use Internet to find information and find a fun time to have it.

If your lens has a long boring essay with text only, text and more text, they will not stick around to read it.

The articles are great because it is information that people want, but season them with photos, images, videos, bullets points.

And be a little creative with article titles. List are great here.. e.g. "6 ways to make the romance back into your relationship."

But only items are not good ... only money making modules and no content is not good.

Provide a good balance and your visitors will enjoy reading your lens!

This is where most people screw up. Articles and other content they put on their holiday, their work, their hobbies and their dog all in the same lens!

An effective lens should be focused on a particular topic. The tighter your niche, the better you make.

People on the Web are looking for very specific information, and if your lens is too wide, they will not hang around long.

For example, if you have a lens on to write "dog training", then keep everything on that page about dog training. Do not start adding articles about 'dog breeding’. Although it is quite closely related, it is another matter altogether. You could make another lens on "dog breeding".
